İngilizce MUN Kulübü öğrencilerimiz geçen hafta Berlin'deydi! 📣 İngilizce MUN Kulübü öğrencilerimiz Eda ve Cemre'nin gözünden, kulübümüzün küresel diplomasi ve tartışma yeteneklerini geliştirmek üzere katıldığı bu yılki önemli etkinliği sizlerle paylaşıyoruz. Our English MUN Club students were in Berlin last week! 📣 Our club students, Eda and Cemre, attended the Berlin MUN Conference, one of this year's key events, to improve their global diplomacy and debating skills. Here is an account of this unforgettable experience through their eyes:

Berlin’e yaptığımız bu gezi, dört gün süren konferansın yanı sıra şehri keşfetme fırsatını da sundu.

Gittiğimiz ilk gün, bir İtalyan restoranda yediğimiz yemeğin ardından Berlin’i gezdik. Berlin Katedrali’ni ve şehir merkezini ziyaret ettik. Ardından konferans başladı. İlk gün, açılış konuşmalarıyla başladı ve büyükelçi rolündeki katılımcıların hazırladığı etkileyici açılış konuşmalarını dinledik. Dünyanın farklı yerlerinden gelen okullardaki öğrencilerle tanışma fırsatını yakaladık. İkinci gün tempo hızlandı; oturum süremiz uzundu ancak keyifliydi. Takip eden günlerde, kulüp arkadaşlarımızla birlikte Model United Nations kapsamında düzenlenen oturumlarda yer aldık ve çeşitli uluslararası meseleler üzerine yapılan tartışmalarda aktif rol üstlendik. Bu deneyim, akademik olarak gelişmemize katkı sağlarken kültürel anlamda da bizi zenginleştirdi. Gezimizin sonuna geldiğimizde, oradan İstanbul’daki günlük hayatımıza dönmeyi açıkçası hiç istemedik. Güzel anılar biriktirdiğimiz, aynı zamanda öğrendiğimiz ve kendimizi geliştirdiğimiz çok güzel bir deneyim oldu

This trip to Berlin offered us the opportunity to explore the city, in addition to the four-day conference. On our first day, after enjoying a meal at an Italian restaurant, we set out to discover Berlin. We visited the Berlin Cathedral and the city center. Following this, the conference officially began. The first day started with opening remarks, where we listened to the impressive speeches prepared by participants in the role of ambassadors. We also had the chance to meet students from schools coming from many different parts of the world. The pace quickened on the second day; our session time was long, but it was enjoyable. In the following days, we took part in the sessions organized within the scope of Model United Nations alongside our club friends, playing an active role in discussions on various international issues. This experience contributed to our academic development while also enriching us culturally. When we reached the end of our trip, we honestly didn’t want to return to our daily lives in Istanbul. It was a beautiful experience where we gathered wonderful memories, learned a great deal, and developed ourselves.
