English MUN club members set off for Haarlem MUN conference which will take place between 1-3 April...

Sainte Pulchérie will participate with 19 students from English MUN club to the 19th HMUN conference which will take place in Haarlem, Holland. Our students will experience an unforgettable conference in which they will think and act with English language while they observe Holland culture and lifestyle. Our students have been studying for their important conference roles as Ambassadors, Delegates, and G20 members since October.

This year’s debate topics are in such a great variety : sustaining long-lasting peace in post-conflict zones, reducing economic sanction in order to strengthen the international economy, establishing measures to protect journalists in conflict areas, developing measures to decrease the political instability in West-Africa, resolving the Libyan Crisis, establishing peaceful cooperation between the Turkish government and the Kurds, the question of Boko Haram in Nigeria, reducing the amount of maternity deaths and reviewing the role of the international coalition in Syria.

We urge our parents to take note of the meeting time at Atatürk Airport :

In 31 March 2016, Thursday, at 07.50 a.m. in front of Turkish Airlines counter.

Students will return in 4 April 2016, Monday, at 00.05 a.m to Atatürk Airport.
