Sainte Pulchérie has visited Nesin Mathematics Village in Şirince for the eight time. Within the beautiful Şirince village, our students spent active days full of Maths, English and French lessons. They had the privilege of having Maths courses with Ali Nesin. Nights were spent by watching movies in the charming library. During her interviews our student, Zeynep, asked the impressions of her friends about this joyful school trip...

What was your favourite thing that you liked the most ?
« I liked the atmosphere and the exterior lessons. I think exterior lessons were much more effective and fun than doing lessons in a classroom. I liked being with my friends all the time even when we slept. In Şirince we lived with animals always by our sides. »

If you could change something what would it be ?
« If I could change something I would add some more recreation and I would make shorter lessons. Also I would make Wi-Fi available in all of the camp site but in general everything worked out very nicely and I would be happy to come back. »

If you compared this trip to the other ones what would you say ?
« I think it was much more fun than the other ones. We had more liberty and the classes were much more effective and educational. We got to know our friends in different ways : we chose with whom to stay. So it was an advantage. »

What would your advise be to other classes coming next year ?
« I would advise them to bring some board and card games because the terrace is a very ideal place to spend time with friends. And also don’t forget to bring some sweaters and coats : it may get very cold at night. »
