Our English MUN club members started the year by participating to Darüşşafaka MUN Conference...

« A total of 8 people from our school participated in the 7th conference of DŞMUN’19 between 10-13th October. We had the opportunity to become an ambassador, we were very excited, and it was a great pride for us to leave the school on the first day of the conference and to represent the country that was given to us. On the second day of the conference, we got up early and started our committees at Darüşşafaka High School. On the same day, the chair and the delegates played icebreaker games to meet the other delegates. The next day, all the delegates came together and prepared a resolution. The state of preparation of the resolution documents can be expressed by every countries’ point of view on the issue and the resolution can be prepared. The fourth and the last of the conference documents were discussed for the last time, and the last analysis was followed by the closing ceremony. We were able to make very good friendships from other schools, which is a big plus for MUN conferences. There really is a universal debate like adults do ; presenting proposals was a wonderful, exciting and memorable moment for us. We look forward to attending this conference again in the future and look forward to seeing other conferences. »
